Just in to Cedar Rock is this amazing 2020 Circa OM with a stunning set of Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides and a Adirondack Spruce top. it features nickel waverly tuners with Ebony buttons, a Brazilian headstock overlay and Ebony bindings with a thin mahogany top border. This classic combination of Brazilian and Adirondack produce’s a punchy fundamental tone with robust lows and a punchy midrange with rich trebles with sustain for days.

This gorgeous build is a perfect blend of prewar tone and modern playability and aesthetic. John Slobod is a master at pairing the dry midrange tone found in golden-era style Martin guitars with a classy, clean look that is all his own. Players, collectors and fellow luthiers alike have celebrated his level of craftsmanship for decades now and this build is a perfect example of why. He has built guitars for Tony McManus, Al Pettaway , Stephen Bennett and many other well known players. This extraordinary OM oozes with that golden era tone, with those fat trebles and great punchy midrange and the perfect amount of tight focused bass. It’s in mint condition.

Every one of John Slobod’s guitars we have gotten in has knocked us out, and this one sure didn’t disappoint. It is so responsive, and the trebles are rich and round. Sustain that last for days, and a full round bass. It features a stunning set of Koa with a beautiful Adirondack Spruce top. This is a ultra comfortable guitar to play and the setup is spot on.

This is a incredible dread from John Slobod. It has some of the nicest straight dark grained Cocobolo I’ve ever seen. And a sunburst Adirondack top. Tonewise this is one of the best dreads we have had in the shop.Big and powerful without being boomy like some dreads can be.
