This particular guitar is called the Studio/Stage, built specifically to sound stellar in the studio yet be a perfect sized guitar for the stage! Many builders are known for doing certain tonewood combos particularly well and we have been blown away by at least 5 Redwood/Walnut Petros’ since opening for business – safe to say they are special and never stick around long. The low end is full, mature and well-defined but the midrange and treble strings are somehow just as compelling and offer a complex voice, especially in dropped tunings. You won’t find this sound anywhere else, Bruce and Matt make this tonewood combo shine to its fullest potential. The setup and playability on this beauty is top-notch as well!

Just in to Cedar Rock is this phenomenal this Presentation Petros Grade Concert with Mastergrade African Rosewood Bubinga and a curly Redwood top. This is 1 of 3 guitars Of these presentation grade guitars that have been produced with these woods – one belonging to Paul Simon and one to another lucky soul! Any Petros will give you a sweet midrange and thunderous bass, but this one has a special character to the voice that we can’t quite put our finger on. Redwood and Petros’ voicing is a match made in heaven and this guitar is a perfect example. Bubinga is a prized wood among harp-makers for it’s immense resonance and we can definitely see why in this guitar. Soloists will love the thickness of the trebles and those using a pick will be in awe of the volume and clean tone this guitar produces. This is a lifetime keeper..

It features a stunning set of Ceylon Satinwood for the back and sides and a clear tight grained Engelmann Spruce top. This is a FS model, which has a 15 inch lower bout, so it’s very comfortable to play. It features a 12-fret neck join at the body which really enhances the tone even more, producing rich sustaining trebles and a full robust bass sound. It features a Koa trimmed arm bevel, and a Soundport. This is a very special guitar and is in mint condition.

The bass is full and robust with without being boomy at all.

Just in to Cedar Rock from a. Private collectors immaculate collection, is this 2021 Petros Grand Concert with a stunning set of Claro Walnut back and sides and a Tunnell 13 Redwood top from 1880. It has a voice that is bold with rich lows with trebles that are silky and very clear. It is in like new condition.

Just in at Cedar Rock Studio Guitar Gallery from a private collector,s immaculate collection is this rare 2018 Petros MD! It features a gorgeous set of Cocobolo with a mastergrade, highly figured bearclaw Sitka top. The upper bout has been reduced to make the guitar much more comfortable to play, and this is by far one of the most unique Dreadnoughts to come through Cedar Rock. Great for both flat picking, or Fingerstyle. It is in like new condition.
