We are happy to share with you this masterpiece from Tom Doerr – a beloved figure in the handmade steel-string guitar world known for unique and elegant designs, huge tone and amazing wood selection in all examples of his work. This Trinity Select would be right at home for an aspiring songwriter or the most discerning fingerstylist. The comfort factor of this guitar makes it feel extra inviting for longer sessions and the voice is angelic with impressive headroom. For those who don’t know, Tom took one of the last available Ervin Somogyi voicing courses earlier in his career and as a result learned how to make an extremely responsive guitar. The tops and active backs of his instruments work in harmony much like a drum and as a result the whole body feels alive on your lap. A 25-26” multiscale fretboard makes for easy playability and a wide dynamic range, both in standard as well as altered tunings. This one is in mint shape.
