The woods are just memorizing to look at with the Tree Mahogany all trimmed out in our favorite trim, Snakewood…While the looks of this guitar is just stunning its the tone that really caught our attention. Rich and full with fat trebles, and just the right amount of mids and a with a robust low-end. This is a lifetime keeper guitar.
The “Tree” mahogany back, sides, top , neck strips, and head plates. Quilted mahogany neck cut from the same slab as Slash’s guitar neck with ebony strips to separate. Snakewood fingerboard and bridge from the same log as Slash’s second JOI guitar.
A 500-year-old Tree that once towered 100 feet and had a massive base ten feet in diameter, re-discovered a little more than ten years after it was chopped down in 1965 and left in a ravine in the Chiquibul Jungle of what is now Belize.
The “Tree” looks and sounds like no other mahogany you’ve ever experienced. It will sing to your body the same way the sounds of the ocean connecting with the sea shore do for your soul, powerful, encompassing, and calming all through the same medium. There is very little of this tonewood still available in the world, the time is soon upon us where this wood will no longer be available and each guitar built with it will be a collectors piece.
