A favorite of fingerstyle-guitarist Dustin Furlow, it was used on 7 of the 10 tracks on his album “Woodscapes”. The tone is deep and powerful, while the trebles are pristine and full of fundamental note value. You get it all with this guitar. The African Blackwood carries a dark, rich low-end content while the European top lets the upper-mid and treble response cut through with ease for complex fingerstyle pieces. The Laskin arm-bevel makes long practice sessions a breeze and the neck is extremely comfortable “C” profile. Did we mention the looks? Rich golden Koa ties the dark Blackwood together with the aged, honey tone of the European top. Truly a beautiful looking and sounding guitar by Marc Beneteau.
